As Smooth As Glass
Liquid Glass might sound like something we get the apprentice detailer to find, like a bucket of steam or sparks for the grinder, but it’s actually an incredibly useful product used in car detailing. It’s not magic, but it does do a pretty amazing job of protecting your car’s paint job between polishes.
We use Liquid Glass products in our washing process to give your car the best protection rain, hail, or shine.
What is Liquid Glass?
Liquid Glass products are designed to protect every inch of your car, inside and out. They also produce cleaners and protectants for boats, aircraft, and household goods. For cars, the range of Liquid Glass car care products covers rubber, leather, and vinyl cleaners for the interior and car polish, protectant, and car wash concentrate to make the outside shine for up to a year.
We are specifically talking about the wash concentrate in this post. When you come to us for car detailing, you can guarantee we will use a little Liquid Glass concentrate to protect your car between visits.
The benefits of the concentrate
Liquid Glass concentrate is an easy way to protect your car’s outer coating between paint job. It is designed to work on clear coats, which add a tough outer layer by bonding with your paint. Liquid Glass then does a whole bunch of things at once:
[if !supportLists]· [endif]It purifies the water we use for cleaning, softening impurities like iron and other minerals to prevent water spotting and streaking
[if !supportLists]· [endif]Using Liquid Glass makes it so much easier to clean off bugs, droppings, dirt and other deposits
[if !supportLists]· [endif]The active ingredients then add a new depth of gloss to your paint job, leaving a satin smooth finish while protecting against deterioration from hard rain and sun
[if !supportLists]· [endif]When we’re done, there’s no need to chamois off the water because it evaporates without a trace thanks to the active hydrophobic ingredient
So, what’s the difference?
We’ll be honest, there is an endless list of car cleaning products out there. Naturally each will claim to be the best in its field, so the only way to find the winner is to test as many as possible – and that’s just what we did.
Without a protective clear coat Liquid Glass, you will need to wax your car regularly, which ends up costing a bomb (not to mention being a huge pain!). You will also notice the difference if you need to wash your ride between trips to the car detailer. It will be harder to clean, and you will have to spend time going over every inch with a chamois trying to avoid water spots.
You will definitely be able to tell the difference when Innomotive use Liquid Glass concentrate in the auto detailing process. Your car will have a new depth to its shine and be protected for a long time between polishes. It’s not hard to achieve a gleaming coat – all you need to do is call us for a car detailing quote!
